Highest Honour / S.H.I.N.E. Africa Discipleship and Counselling
Our world includes a diversity of peoples and cultures and each one’s worldview influences their internal values and external practices.
Recent studies and surveys reveal Africans as more shame-oriented with its inverse of honour) in their decision making, ethical values, and thinking. What is understood as ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ is determined by a conscience guided by what is ‘shameful’ or ‘honourable’.
This makes a big difference to how we should disciple people in Africa. Most methods tend to deal with issues of guilt rather than of shame, which leaves Africans being ‘well-discipled’ in only 20% of their thinking, with the remainder mostly unaddressed.
'Highest Honour' and 'S.H.I.N.E. Africa' desire to fill the current gap in training and materials that can bring deep heart-transforming biblical discipleship in African shame-oriented contexts.

There is a growing openness to faith and a pressing need for mission work.
