Serving in Ethiopia
From: United States of America
Who we are:We previously worked as rural family physicians in Eastern Oregon as adjunct faculty through Oregon Health Sciences University. Our 3 children are Isaac, Zerihun and Titaya. We have both long desired to serve the underserved in Africa. Through the adoption of 2 of our 3 children we became more involved with Ethiopia. Now God has called us to use our passions, talents and experience to teach medical residents in Addis Ababa as Ethiopia builds their healthcare system.
What we do:We are teaching family medicine residents at Black Lion Hospital through Addis Ababa University in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. Our role is to help multiply the efforts of our skills by training family medicine residents who can in turn provide high quality health care for the people of Ethiopia. Part of our ministry will be to share the love of Christ with others and disciple believers in their faith.
