Danny and April Hall
Serving in Angola
From: United States of America
Who we are:Danny and April originally met in college. Five years later, The Lord brought them together and they were married in 1992. Danny was in the IT industry for 15 years, at which time he was laid off. During the following 2 years, the Lord lead him into Youth Ministry. He loves working with teenagers and sharing the love of Christ with them.
April graduated nursing school in 1987 and continued her studies to become an Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. She graduated from Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia in 1995 with a Master's Degree in Nursing from UNC-Greenboro.
We have been blessed with 2 wonderful daughters: Riley (18) and McKenna (15) who are currently homeschooling through The University of Nebraska Lincoln (UNL).
What we do:Danny is working with fundraising and establishing a stronger financial base for ISTEL, the interdenominational seminary in Lubango, and is assisting with teaching youth ministry classes. He has also started a youth ministry program at Tchicombe Ranch. It's very exciting to be able to share the love of Christ with the teens and to incorporate other Angolans who are students or graduates from ISTEL.
April is working as an anesthetist at CEML, a mission hospital in Lubango. She is teaching the Angolan anesthetists and caring for surgical patients. She is able to share the Gospel and the love of Jesus Christ through her work at the hospital.
