Who we are:Corey and Katie were called individually to missions in their teens, later met at Wheaton College and were married in 1998. They went to Senegal in 2000 and have been there since, ministering to the Wolof people. They have three young daughters who love to eat rice with their hands and tease in Wolof.
What we do:The Garretts have worked primarily with Chronological Bible Storying, community development, and mentoring young people during their 16 years of ministry among the unreached Wolof people.
This term Corey is working to publish the Wolof Bible using Arabic script. Katie is the SIM Senegal Personnel Coordinator and the manager of the Kaffrine Scholarship Project. For more, see http://coreyandkatie.org.
