South Omo Unreached People (92011)
The purpose of this ministry is to begin the evangelistic outreach that will see the last remaining people groups in SW Ethiopia reached with the gospel. The vision is to see these pastoralist people groups that inhabit the area between the Omo River and the Ethio-Sudan border worshipping the living God in their own unique way and reaching out to their neighbors with a culturally and linguistically relevant and easily reproducible gospel message.
- To plant the church among the unreached peoples of the South Omo through:
- Entry-point activities like monthly mobile veterinary and medical clinics to facilitate the placement of 20 church planters/disciplers in 20 targeted villages annually.
- Training and equipping 100 believers annually to disciple 1000 new believers and plant 100 new groups of believers annually.
