Many SIM-related schools are facing vacancies in their teacher rosters for the 2008-2009 school year. Without these vital people, our schools will not be able to do their part in fulfilling the mission of Jesus Christ in the world.

Playing a Vital Part in Mission

In Africa, Asia, and South America, SIM-related schools:

• Provide quality, Christian education for the children of our missionaries,
• Allow missionary parents to serve in strategic ministries in places where there are no suitable options for their children's education, and
• Give opportunities for local or expatriate children to receive an excellent, Christian education.

Making a Kingdom Impact

Teachers are important members of our missionary team. Besides giving math or science lessons, they influence children for eternity. Through Bible studies, extracurricular activities, or by just "being there" for kids in the tough transitions of cross-cultural living, teachers and dorm parents make an incredible difference in the lives of young people.

There are open positions to teach both high school and younger grades in each of the regions where SIM serves. Boarding schools are also looking for dorm parents.
