Recently, in a letter, we told our supporters that Kabir did not show up on the day of his baptism. Since then, no one had been able to make contact with him. Someone must have taken this to heart and prayed.

A few days after we sent that letter, our pastor went outside to watch a political demonstration near where he lived. In a city of 14 million people, it turned out that Kabir was standing just one person away from him!

The pastor invited him for tea and found out why he had disappeared. On the day of his baptism, a family issue prevented him from coming. He was too embarrassed to see any of the house church members after that.

Thanks to the prayers of faithful partners, the relationship was renewed. Last week Kabir and another young man were baptized in a river near the city.
