SIM Bolivia Celebrates 100 Years
3 January 2008
Watch a video celebration of the centenary.

On SIM's "Founders Day," December 4, 2007, SIM Bolivia celebrated its 100th anniversary. Founded in 1907 by New Zealanders George and Mary Allan, the organization was originally known as the Bolivian Indian Mission (BIM). As the ministry expanded, its name changed to Andes Evangelical Mission (AEM). In 1982, AEM merged with SIM.

Missionaries, church leaders, and friends gathered in Cochabamba for a celebration to thank God for the many lives that have been changed through SIM's ministry.
