At FEXPO 2006, over 500
people visited each day

From September 25-27, FEXPO, a nationwide exposition of Christian ministries will be held in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Organized by Apoyo, an SIM ministry that supports Bolivian pastors, this is the second FEXPO event. The first one was held in 2006 and was an amazing success, uniting and encouraging the evangelical church community.

At the first FEXPO, 64 organizations had exhibition stands, and over 500 people visited the exhibitions and workshops each day. This year, the organizers are planning for something even bigger. Apoyo has rented a larger building, and already 86 of the 121 stands have been reserved by national and international Christian organisations.

Fourteen sub-committees are busy planning different aspects of the three-day exposition. In addition to the exhibition stands, there will be a Bible message and five workshops each day on subjects related to the Christian family. In the afternoons, there will be a round table forum where people can ask experts questions about family issues, and where ministries working in the same area will meet and discuss issues pertinent to their work. The event will end with a Christian music concert.

Pray

  • for the remaining stands to be sold
  • that the recent political unsettledness will not affect the event.
  • for everyone who attends FEXPO to be blessed and encouraged.
