Basic Education Learning Centers (BELC) are providing schooling for thousands of young people in South Sudan. One center recently graduated 30 students and has four more classes of students that will be graduating soon. Also, as a result of student evangelism, 23 students have made decisions to follow Christ in the last year and 37 believers were baptized at Christmas 2008!

Part of the "Rebuilding Southern Sudan: Church and Nation" initiative, the BELC program aims to train up to 200 new teachers in the next five years.
